Privacy Policy

Last updated September 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how reCARE.ai, Inc., doing business as reCare.ai ("reCare.ai," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit https://www.recare.ai, communicate with us, or use services we provide directly.

When reCare.ai processes patient information, including protected health information ("PHI"), on behalf of a healthcare customer, that processing is governed by our agreement with that customer, including a Business Associate Agreement where applicable, and by applicable healthcare privacy law. In those circumstances, the healthcare customer generally determines the purposes of the processing and this website Privacy Policy does not replace the customer's own privacy notice.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

We may collect business contact information and other information you choose to provide, including your name, organization, role, email address, phone number, messages, demo requests, support requests, and information submitted through forms or communications with us.

Information collected through our website

When you use our website, we may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, and interactions with the site. We may use cookies and similar technologies for website operation, analytics, security, and customer relationship management.

We do not currently collect precise GPS/device location data or device biometric identifiers through the reCare.ai website or platform. We may derive approximate location from an IP address for security, analytics, or service operation.

Information processed for healthcare customers

Depending on a customer's implementation, reCare.ai may process clinical, care-plan, scheduling, referral, utilization, claims, engagement, communication, operational, device, sensor, or other longitudinal patient information supplied by or on behalf of the customer. This may include health information that is sensitive personal information or PHI.

2. How we use information

We may use personal information to provide and operate our services; integrate and reconcile healthcare data; support configured patient engagement and care-coordination workflows; maintain security and reliability; respond to requests; provide customer support; improve our products; perform analytics; meet contractual obligations; and comply with applicable law.

reCare.ai is designed to support healthcare workflows and human decision-making. Our services are not intended to replace qualified clinical judgment.

3. Artificial intelligence and machine learning

reCare.ai uses artificial intelligence and machine-learning technologies as part of its patient-intelligence and workflow capabilities. Production patient data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform ("GCP"). AI and machine-learning workloads may use Google technologies such as Gemini and Gemma. For some limited use cases, reCare.ai may also use other contracted model or infrastructure providers, including Anthropic, subject to the applicable customer agreement and data-handling requirements.

Where patient information is involved, use of AI services is governed by the customer's configuration, applicable contractual controls, and healthcare privacy requirements. reCare.ai does not use this Privacy Policy to authorize uses of customer PHI beyond those permitted by the applicable customer agreement.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers and subprocessors that help us host, secure, analyze, support, or operate our services; to professional advisers where necessary; in connection with a corporate transaction; or when required by law. We require service providers to handle information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements.

We may use website analytics and customer-relationship tools to understand site usage and manage business communications. Patient information processed on behalf of healthcare customers is used and disclosed only as permitted by the applicable customer agreement and law.

5. Healthcare privacy and PHI

For healthcare customers subject to HIPAA, reCare.ai may act as a Business Associate and enter into a Business Associate Agreement where applicable. PHI is handled only as permitted by the applicable customer agreement, BAA, and law. Requests concerning patient records should generally be directed first to the healthcare organization that controls those records.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to meet contractual obligations, or as required or permitted by law. Unless a longer period is required by law or an applicable customer agreement, no purpose in this Policy requires us to retain account-related personal information for more than twenty-four (24) months after termination of the relevant account.

7. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children

Our website and business services are not directed to children for their own independent use. Patient information concerning minors may be processed on behalf of healthcare customers when permitted by the applicable customer agreement and law.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information about you; to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; or to opt out of certain forms of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling where those rights apply.

To submit a privacy request concerning information controlled by reCare.ai, email mydata@recare.ai. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. If reCare.ai processes the information only on behalf of a healthcare customer, we may direct your request to that customer.

10. Cookies and browser controls

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where presented, through site consent controls. Some browser privacy signals may also communicate opt-out preferences where required by applicable law. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

11. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, data practices, or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated through additional notice where appropriate.
